Easter Morning I got up extra early so that I could shower and get ready for the day as well as make the final touches on the Easter Baskets. Once McKenna was ready for church I went and got our Easter Baskets that the Easter Bunny brought. We had so much fun with McKenna.
After that we went to church. It was a homecoming so that made church even more fun! After church Landon and I went and visted with the Bishopric for a while and then we both got set a part for our neww callings. The spirit was wonderful! I am so grateful to be a spiritual team with Landon!
Once we were done with Church we rushed home and Landon changed while I grabbed all of our gifts and a broccoli salad that I had made and then we headed over to the Becknells. The Straits were already there when we got there and so we gave Jaren his Easter gift which was a winter coat for next year while they are in Oregon. Its pretty rad looking. Then we gave both the Straits and The Becknells Easter Cards of McKenna and they each got the movie 5 People that you will meet in Heaven. Then we got our Easter Baskets from the Becknells. I got Recipe and household tip booklets and Landon got some Jerky and a pen that has all the Priesthood ordinances written in a scroll inside the pen. McKenna got a barn with barn toys- she loves them!!!!
We ate dinner and all the cousins showed up so we visited with them and then headed home to grab more gifts and food for my parents house.
