I am trying to get everything done this Christmas Season. It has been both fun, crazy and creative.
We got a majority of our gifts for family members on Black Friday. We got our tree set up, our porches and doors decorated and our home decorated.
In the midst of our decorating we are also packing up. We are slowling packing up the things we wont need between now and the end of January and are taking those boxes to Larry and Darlenes until we move in.
Anyway, back to the Holiday Season, its not just Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years it's also another Birthday Season as well as baby season on our Becknell side. Holly and Shalyn both just had little baby boys. We have been making the rounds to celebrate all the family Birthdays.
We also have made our Christmas cards and have sent those out. I made goodie bags for Thanksgiving and now have made them for Christmas for our neighbors, hometeachers, and visiting teachers. We made gift bags for our co-workers and Bosses and of course our Bishop. We made a treat basket for all the neighborhood kids to come and get a piece of candy at our door each day. That has been a lot of fun! We made our Christmas packages for T.R and his family out at Duke and Diane and her family in Kansas and got those mailed off.
We have a bunch of parties coming up. Our First Party is this Friday. Its my Pillar House Party that we have each year. I am taking a dessert and a new soup that I am trying. The next day we are going to our Orchard Family Party in Idaho and taking some pies up there. It is going to be a blast!
It has been fun to try to stay on top of getting ready for Christmas and trying new recipes and goodies. Its been fun giving to the people around us and enjoying the Holiday Season. Now if I can just keep up with all my cousins having babies and the Birthdays then we are good to go!
