McKenna at the Doctors Office

McKenna loves her DO we go to. He is awesome. He is always up to date on new research and always gives me any print outs or references of articles. He also loves McKenna! He is always so surprised how smart she is.

McKenna is testing at the 18 month mark for talking, fine motor skills, mimicking and comprehension. 

She is right on track physically. Not too fast or too slow.

We are now able to introduce more dairy to her and we are really excited about that. Her iron was spot on which was great bc mine never is!!! We are moving forward in the food world and hopefully it will help her gain some more weight. McKenna hasn't dropped in weight but she was just under her target weight. He said that happens when babies are eating a lot of table food early and he said that its better for her to taper off now in weight and gain a taste for food so she will have a high tolerance for food as she gets older.

So everything was good news and even some impressive news. McKenna was having fun until they pricked her foot and then a few minutes later came back in and have her two shots. Poor girl. We stagger our vaccinations so she gets a shot every time she sees the DO. 

Before we saw the DO she had so much fun in the waiting room playing with the cars. She loves cars and calls them "go" lol everytime she sees one she points and says "go, go!" What a cutie!
