Memorial Day Hike

We started hiking around 10-10:30 up Corner Canyon and ended up cutting over to Alpine and hiking all over back in there. We ended up hiking for about half the day. Needless to say by the time we were done, the dogs were beat, McKenna was past tired and running on adrenaline and all three of us were a little sunburned! It was a beautiful hike though. I even carried the pack with McKenna in it for half of the way!!! I think I'm gonna be pretty sore!

Sunday Relaxing

On Sunday we had church and then Landon had meetings and Home Teaching until 4pm. By the time he got home we was tired. So we all went outside and sat on a blanket and played with the dogs. 

We also built a fire a roasted hot dogs for dinner and had otter pops for dessert. It was such a fun and relaxing Sunday!

Our Yard is Coming Along

Yummy Ribs

We went to Jason and Suzy's house for BBQ on Saturday night and it was so yummy! Jason made ribs with a spicy rub on them! They were really good! Suzy also made amazing creamy potatoes and cold pasta salad and really yummy brownies! We ate so well! They are an amazing cooking team!

Loosing My Mind

So, I have MAJOR Mom Brain! The past two weekends at yard sales I have lost something. Last week I lost the rest of our yard sale money (which was only $13) but you can buy a lot with that at a Yard Sale. I was so bummed!

This weekend, I lost my car keys. I had to call Landon to come and rescue us! Luckily though we later found the car keys in the diaper bag... Possibly put there by McKenna. Lol

This Mom Brain gets crazy! I have had shoes sitting in my fridge for days, I have gone to the store and forgotten my wallet, and have tried to keep pushing through it all but man! I'm this bad and I only have one child!!! It's gonna be a long road! Lol

Peanut Butter

Our DO is awesome and he has shared with us some backing research on why you should start feeding your kids table food early on. So, at our last appointment he talked to us about introducing diary, eggs and peanut butter. I still want to be careful so we have just done a tiny bit of peanut butter. We gave her a cracker with a very thin layer of peanut butter! She of course loved it! No allergic reaction and its now her fav!

SCORE

Whenever we say "score!" or "touchdown" McKenna puts her hands up! It's so cute. Also if she sees any kind of sport she starts cheering or if we say: "go team go" she will kick her legs up and wave her arms around she even pretends like she is doing a back flip- it's hilarious!

An American Tale

Grandpa and Grandma got McKenna An American Tale and Fifel Goes West! I grew up with these movies and am so glad we own them now. McKenna really enjoyed them!

La Jolla Groves

We love La Jolla Groves! It's a beautiful place to eat and visit. They use locally grown food and it tastes so yummy! 

Everything is decorated in lemons and lemon trees! It's gorgeous! 

So for Mothers Day we took my mom and dad. It was a blast to be there! We ate appetizers, dinner and a bunch of yummy desserts. Then walked around Riverwoods and went to The Provo Resort. Such a fun night!

Grandma got McKenna a lemon outfit a while ago and McKenna has been waiting to wear it for when we go to La Jolla Groves! She looked so cute!

Exercising

Everyday McKenna and I do an exercise activity. We go walking at lots of different places and go swimming and when Daddy is home he walks with us and brings the dogs or we go hiking. It's fun to stay active!

Taylor's Graduation

On Monday we went down to Payson and had lunch with Grandma and then went to TJ's graduation. McKenna loves her cousins! She was so proud of her cousin!

Saying Goodbye

Josh, Shalyn and Jaren are moving to Oregon so we had a goodbye dinner. 

McKenna got to play with the Geckos. She kept trying to grab him and squeeze him.

Veggies

McKenna tried her first piece of corn on the cob! Yum yum! 

She also loves asparagus, it's her favorite veggie! What a good eater!

Disney at the Mall

McKenna had fun with her friend Aubrey at the Mall. Disney Junior does a kid day and we had a blast.
