It was McKenna's first time at the pool. She did great! She was really excited when we walked into the pool and she saw all the kids playing. When we got in the pool she kicked a lot. She made some new friends and liked being the water. We have a little life jacket for her and she just floated around the pool. It was adorable.
After the pool Mckenna took a nap and ate and then Landon went and bought a baby kelty carrier for hiking so once he got back with the carrier we went on a hike.
We hiked/walked up on the dimple dell canyon trials. We took Max with us and met Nana and Pop Pop there. It was a lot of fun and McKenna was so excited! She giggled and smiled and talked the whole time! It was adorable.
Once we got back she napped and ate another bottle and then we all got dressed up for the adult session of stake conference. Well, when we got there we realized that it didn't start until later. So, Landon decided to take us girls out to dinner.
We went to Toscanos. It was so beautiful. It is a very intimate setting. They are known for their authentic Italian food and wine. Mckenna had fun and so did we. It's amazing food.
Afterward we went to the adult session of stake conference which was uplifting. Afterward we went to the store and bought a bunch of classic movies we didn't have. We bought: Clue, Shutter Island, Gremlins, the Cat in the Hat, Facing the Giants and a four pack of BBC movies! We are set!
It was a wonderful day! We had so much fun together and are so excited for the fun times ahead of us.
