The Newly Weds

Landon and Kristi met in Febuary of 2011. Within a month of dating they knew they wanted a future with each other. They were married on July 20, 2011. Upon meeting each other they wondered if fairy tales really do come true? Their story is a modern day fairy tale of two people who gave up looking for their happily ever after and though its a lot later in life for both of them, a miracle happened and the two of them met, fell in love and....and are working on the happily ever after part.

A "SUPER" Fathers Day

We decided to do a "Super" Dad themed Fathers Day for Landon. Because it was his first Fathers Day we went all out. Lol okay, okay OVERBOARD but it was fun!

We started celebrating on Friday night. We had taco salads and Landon came home to all of these decorations and gifts.

I didn't have the right tools to make the cake the way I wanted to but it was good enough.

We ate cake and played the ladder throw game he got and then went up to bed and watched the comic superman on blueray.

In the morning Landon got breakfast in bed: lucky charms. Plus a hiking outfit so we got up and got the dogs and we all went for a hike.

This is his new hiking outfit. Once we got home from hiking Landon mowed the lawn so we could set up his new badminton and volleyball set.

These are what he got for our night activity. He loves Luckys and never buys clothes for himself.

Next we all got dressed up in our new Superman clothes and we dropped McKenna off at Nanas and went and saw Man of Steel 3D. It was amazing!!!! We not only dressed up but we also got a big thing of popcorn and slurpees! So fun!

After the movie we went and got McKenna and got Landon's favorite food: training table! It was so yummy!!!

Then we all came home and played the ladder throw in our yard.

Landon ended up opening other presents the rest of the day and also into Sunday. We made him some crafts, we got him a back rest for work, he got two jazz shirts, a baseball pack that had: a baseball tee, two plastic bats and balls, a pack of wiffle balls, big chew bubble gum, sunflower seeds, and bases. I also got him a sentimental gift, and he got extra birdies, crochet, and horseshoes.

On Sunday after church we went to pop pop and Nanas. We ate beef brisket, beans and potato salad and I made cole slaw. For dessert we had mud pie! Amazing! We then watched the US Open.

After the Becknells we went down to west mt. Suzy and the kids came and Ryan came. It was a lot of fun! We even skyped TR. We ate BBQ chicken and pork chops with tons of yummy sides! I made a strawberry poppyseed salad.
We had three different kinds of desserts and played bacci.

Landon got a BBQ set from his parents and snake hoses from my parents and a ck shirt from Suzy.

We made my dad and Larry Grandpa Stashes full of sugar free candy. We also got Larry a shirt and shorts for golfing and a get well gift ( he just had surgery) so we have him pop and popcorn with a cute saying and an Elvis movie.
For my dad we bought him a nice bacci set and a really nice dress shirt and a bunch of A&W with a cute saying.

I think it was a successful Fathers Day!
