The Newly Weds

Landon and Kristi met in Febuary of 2011. Within a month of dating they knew they wanted a future with each other. They were married on July 20, 2011. Upon meeting each other they wondered if fairy tales really do come true? Their story is a modern day fairy tale of two people who gave up looking for their happily ever after and though its a lot later in life for both of them, a miracle happened and the two of them met, fell in love and....and are working on the happily ever after part.

New Years Day 2013

For New Years Day we had wanted to go snow shoeing. We had plenty of snow to go but it is very cold outside and so we needed to wait until the sun came up to go but Landons parents decided to have lunch instead of dinner so that Landons sister and her husband could be there. So, we decided not to go snowshoeing and slept in and then just went up to Sandy. There will always be other days to snow shoe and we wanted to spend the day with family.

Every year, Larry and Darlene do a Southern Meal to welcome in the new year. So, I brought baked southern Mac and Cheese with Ham. We ate lunch there and were able to visit with Josh and Shalyn for about a half hour and then they left. Landon and I then stayed and played games with his parents.  It was a riot! I love to play games. We played Rook. Everytime we play Rook though I never remember how to play so it always takes me a bit to relearn but regardless, Landon always chooses to be on a team with me. lol After Rook we played Scotland Yard. I had never played before but had heard a lot about it from his family. So, they taught me how to play. I messed up a bit but it was a lot fun! McKenna tried out a new swing while we were playing our games and loved it! It put her right to sleep. She slept clear through us playing four games!
