The Newly Weds

Landon and Kristi met in Febuary of 2011. Within a month of dating they knew they wanted a future with each other. They were married on July 20, 2011. Upon meeting each other they wondered if fairy tales really do come true? Their story is a modern day fairy tale of two people who gave up looking for their happily ever after and though its a lot later in life for both of them, a miracle happened and the two of them met, fell in love and....and are working on the happily ever after part.

Busy busy life

It's been a while since I have written. Life really took off in November. With Landon being Elders Quorum President and me being the 2nd Counselor in the Relief Society over activities plus I got another calling to be the mission prep teacher for our stake.... We have been worn out. I started writing the curriculum for my stake class in November and Landon and I got really overwhelmed with all the service that needed to be done over the holidays in our ward.

McKenna got really sick on Christmas Eve and I don't think our family ever recovered. We have been passing around sickness in our house ever since. Shortly after the Holidays I found out I was pregnant. I've been much healthier this pregnancy but have had some fluke things that have thrown us for a loop.

We found out we are having another cute little girl. She is expected to be here September 24th. We are so excited. Her name is Mattie Ann Becknell.

Landon graduated from his MBA program and got a partial raise and is expected to get another one in December. We are so proud of him!

We have gone on two vacations. One to OR for a week to visit our siblings and one with my parents to Yellowstone. Both were a lot of fun with McKenna.

Our most recent update is that we bought a home. Our first home purchase together! It's not far from where we currently live. It's an awesome location and a great older house with newer renovations and character.

I'm starting to get more limited with my mobility lol so I hope to slow down a bit and get back into habits like posting on our blog. :)
