The Newly Weds

Landon and Kristi met in Febuary of 2011. Within a month of dating they knew they wanted a future with each other. They were married on July 20, 2011. Upon meeting each other they wondered if fairy tales really do come true? Their story is a modern day fairy tale of two people who gave up looking for their happily ever after and though its a lot later in life for both of them, a miracle happened and the two of them met, fell in love and....and are working on the happily ever after part.

3 Years Forgotten???

So after the yard sale Landon and I were beat. We wanted to head straight to bed, Landon's mom sent a text inviting us to Sunday dinner. Without thinking we said "yeah, we don't have anything else going on" lol later after a power nap, I woke up in a panic as to what the date was!!! Sure enough- the next day was going to be our anniversary! Yikes. I always forget that stuff but Landon always remembers. So, I thought I'd feel out the waters..... I asked Landon if he knew of anything important tomorrow that we might need to remember. He said no but went on to list church calling meetings and so forth. Yessss! I wasn't the only one. So then I blurted out! It's our anniversary tomorrow!!!! He didn't believe me and had to look on his calendar. Lol

Now to our credit we had planned to celebrate our anniversary on the 26th at the Capitol Theater seeing Wicked and going to the Roof after.... So technically we are still safe but oh dear! What's in our future???? Lol

We have been through a lot in 3 years! We got married and Landon lost his house, I miscarried a baby, I got a new job, we had McKenna, Landon got a new job, we moved to sandy, we got ward and stake callings, Landon graduated with his MBA, we bought a house, we have another baby girl due in September, we have made lots of new friends, gone on vacations, bought a new dog- bumper :) sold our vehicles and got new ones.... It's been a busy 3 years! We have been so blessed!

It's a wonderful purifying process to be married and become parents. It's hard to have so many flaws revealed but grateful for what we have learned and who we are becoming! So excited for our future, a little worried about how crazy it will be but stoked about forming our family and learning and growing together :)
