The Newly Weds

Landon and Kristi met in Febuary of 2011. Within a month of dating they knew they wanted a future with each other. They were married on July 20, 2011. Upon meeting each other they wondered if fairy tales really do come true? Their story is a modern day fairy tale of two people who gave up looking for their happily ever after and though its a lot later in life for both of them, a miracle happened and the two of them met, fell in love and....and are working on the happily ever after part.

Whats Baby Becknell Gonna BEE???

We had a Gender Revealing Party for our family. It was a lot of fun! Landons mom and sister made a bunch of cute "mini/baby" foods: Baby carrots, mini triskets, baby shrimp, mini muffins, mini pizza bites, baby pigs in a blanket and baby runts and other candies. My mom made a cookie flower bouquet. Landon and I made the BEE Cupcakes with the center filling colored pink for the color of the baby. I also made a Dirt/Mud cake with worms. :) We had Blue and Pink drinks and all sorts of cute Bee and bug stickers, suckers, candies, prizes etc.
We played Battle of the Sexes, BEE Baby BINGO and What does Mommy and Daddy think its gonna BEE? (The answers came out to be a boy by the way...he he he) Needless to say we really fooled everyone when they all bit into the cupcakes at the same time and saw pink in the middle instead of blue!!!!

Its Gonna BEE a Girl


Landon and I found on Tuesday March 13th that we were having a little girl! We have been on cloud nine the whole time. Because we decided to throw a Baby Gender Revealing Party fr our family members, we couldn't tell anyone what we were having. It was a hard secret to keep!
I just can't wait to hold her!
